DURHAM, N.C. — January 3, 2008 — Shodor, a Durham non profit organization serving students and educators to improve math and science education nationwide, announces that it will hold a series of six Project SUCCEED Saturday Explorations Workshops beginning on February 2nd. These computational science workshops for 6th-8th graders will encourage students to investigate the world around them through hands-on and interactive computer simulations in scientific modeling, graphic design and web design. The workshops will be based at Shodor's research offices in the Durham Centre with field trips to labs on the campus of North Carolina Central University.
