Did you know many of your favorite Shodor materials were actually developed by students??

And if you donate $25 or more, you will receive Interactivate on CD as a special thank you gift for supporting our students!

Your donation will support high school and undergraduate students and mentoring efforts for Shodor's SUCCEED Apprenticeship and the Mentor Center Internship programs. Shodor's strong, local programs provides young people with real-world experiences in:

  • mathematics, science, and technology content
  • mathematics and science curriculum development
  • mathematics and science teaching
  • web design, graphics, and programming
  • professional, soft skills

Shodor's student programs include:

  • Shodor's weekend and summer week-long math and science workshops
  • Apprenticeship opportunities for area 9th-12th grade students with interests in science, technology, engineering and mathematics -- providing valuable 21st Century Workforce Skills to participants as they explore science and technology
  • Leadership opportunities for accomplished apprentices and interns to mentor other students, teaching skills both in the classroom and one-on-one
  • Internships providing students opportunities to create and improve the online mathematics and science curriculum used in classrooms nationwide
  • Resources to provide scientific computing experiences to existing Triangle programs for youth at community, after school, and other summer programs
