Answer the following questions:

• Change vertical and horizontal scales for each data set and observe changes in the histogram. Is data increasing or decreasing along the horizontal axis? Does the answer depend on the horizontal scale? Vertical scale?

• Can you make data look more stable by changing the scales? Can you make it look more unstable?

• Find a place where a slight change in the horizontal scale leads to a big change in the appearance of the histogram. How and why does this happen?
